Introduction to SPSS

This 2 hour hands-on workshop will introduce you to SPSS through practical exercises using real-world data. You will gain an overview of exploring/modifying/cleaning data, producing descriptive statistics (e.g.chi-square test, cross-tabs, etc.), creating basic visualizations of data (e.g. box plot, scatter plot, etc.), and performing several types of statistical analyses (bivariate correlations, t-tests, OLS regression, and ANOVA). From this session, participants will gain an introductory level proficiency in SPSS and basic data analysis skills.
